California Code & Ethics Update February 2023

The California Department of Insurance will be requiring all candidates studying for an insurance producer license to complete one hour of Anti-Fraud Awareness Training as part of their 12-hour Code & Ethics prelicensing education, effective March 1, 2023.

On February 23, 2023, a new chapter will be added to the ExamFX California Code & Ethics course (Mandatory 1-hour Agent/Broker Anti-Fraud Awareness Training) to satisfy the revised 12-Hour Ethics Educational Objectives. Our courses will be changing a little ahead of the March 1 effective date to give everyone a chance to complete the new chapter. Candidates must spend a minimum of one hour studying and completing a quiz in this new chapter.

It is recommended that candidates currently enrolled in an ExamFX Code and Ethics course should complete their course and request their certificate prior to February 22, 2023. 

Please note, if additional study time is needed after February 23, 2023, candidates will be required to complete the anti-fraud training before receiving their certificate of completion.
