Kansas licensees must complete their CE requirement, and the Kansas Department of Insurance must receive CE course completion information (KCE-4 course certificates) no later than December 30, 2021 for licensees who need to complete CE requirements and renew their licenses by year-end. The number of CE credit hours increased July 1, 2021, and licensees must now complete a total of 18 hours of continuing education biennially, three of which must be ethics. Due to system upgrades which will occur the first week of January 2022, electronic CE entries for Kansas licensees (including roster entries) will not be able to be submitted through SBS from December 31, 2021 through January 11, 2022.
